Is Play Garba safe for women?
It is built for meeting in public at Garba grounds. You never need a phone number, there is no GPS tracking, check-ins are optional and expire at midnight, and you can block or report anyone. Photo review compares a selfie with your photos; it is a likeness check, not an identity check, so always meet in a busy public place and trust your instincts.
Do women pay to swipe on Play Garba?
No. Women swipe without a limit on every plan, free, and can see who liked them for free too.
Can I meet a guy here just for Garba?
Yes. Keep "Who would you like to meet" on Everyone, or choose Men, and pick "Garba partner only". Your profile then says Just Garba, so everyone sees you are here to dance before they like you. A chat opens only when you both like each other.
Is Play Garba a dating app?
Only if you want it to be. Choose "Garba partner only" and your profile says so. Nobody on Play Garba is paid to dance with you, and we never rent or sell partners.
Can I find a female Garba partner on Play Garba?
Yes. In your profile, set "Who would you like to meet" to Women. You will only see women, and you can match with a woman going to your ground on your night.
If I only want to meet women, can men see my profile?
No. When you choose to meet women only, anyone who has told us they are a man is not shown your profile, and you do not see them.
Can I go with my friends?
Of course. Most people dance in groups. Join the free city group chats, or invite your friends with your code: every friend who joins and gets their photos approved adds 25 swipes to your account and gets 3 free days.
